Computer Studies 9 -10 is introductory computer studies in which
Students will learn how to manage a computer by studying hardware configurations, software selection, operating system functions, networking, and safe computing practices. Students will also investigate the social impact of computer technologies, and develop an understanding of environmental and ethical issues related to the use of computers.

In this program, students will be able to build their own animation and demonstrate it on their own website.
This course is intended for students who plan to take Programming 11 and 12 in the future.

Following the BC Computer study curriculum, student will be able to:

-
Learn the design process.

-
Understand Social, ethical, and sustainability issues are influenced by design.

-
Apply the Complex tasks requirement of different technologies and tools at different stages.
