Life, Music, Love (Sculpture project)
Project Instruction:

A group with 3 to 5 peoples

Each group's member will follow the same theme to create their own sculpture

The 3 or 5 individual sculptures combine together will be unified into one idea.

Example: Gold Wood Water Fire and Earth are the five elements represent the Universe
Theme:
Love, Music, Life
Choose one of the themes " Love, Music or Life" for your project.
Think:

Why you choose the specific theme?

What is the story of your sculpture?

What is the unifying idea?

What is the name of your sculpture?

What is the unifying name?

What does it mean for you?
-
What message that you want to tell your audience by your sculpture?

What is the material that you are going to use?

Answer the questions in the sketchbook and post it on Sculpture Web page under the title "Sculpture idea development"
Layout
•Color layouts on the sketchbook and post it on the Sculpture Web page ( Title it sculpture layout)
•Approve by Mrs. Leung
- Start project
- Take photos of each progress status ( around 5 to 6 photos.)
- Post it on the Sculpture Web page with a caption to describe the status (Post Title: Sculpture Progress)
- Post the final product and Artist statement on the Sculpture Web page (Name your sculpture)
Material:
Any material
Size: No less than 1 feet tall ( can be bigger, no smaller)
Project reviewing in the sketchbook and post it on the Sculpture Web page
1. What do you learn in this project?
2. Does it work out like what you think? Why it works out? Why it does not work out?
3. How you can make it better next time? List it point by point.
4. Do you think you are using your time wisely? ( list the steps, what you miss?)
5. How you can make better management on your project? (Time, material, Money, planning, technique, skill
evaluation, responsibility, role…)
6. Did you think you are a good team member? Why yes? Why no?
Post your answer under your project on the Sculpture Web page. Title it "Project reviewing"
Artist statement
Write an artist statement about your sculpture and post it on the Sculpture Web page under your final product
Due: 2 weeks
**Organize your project and exercise page, remember to separate each project. Make it clear for your audience.
